Can you put a explanation/paragraph in a Photo essay?

I have to do a photo essay for Aice General Paper and my topic is Children and Woman trafficking. I have put information in there to explain situations, for instance how it is in Europe and Asia, but I have put the information in paragraph form..
EXAMPLE :

In Asia, Japan is the major country for trafficked women; most are from the Philippines and Thailand. In Japan the flourishing amusement market has created a huge demand for sexual workers, the women and children are sold to brothels where they are forced to pay off their price. These demands are being met by trafficking young women and children from the Philippines, Colombia and Thailand. Women are forced into prostitution, stripping and sexual acts. In Nepal over 200,000 Nepali girls, most under aged, have been sold into the sex slavery in India. There is estimated that there are 300,000 women and children forced into the sex trade throughout South-Eastern Asia.
